 Does Shopping at Costco Actually Save You Money?  Many people know about the large corporation named Costco Wholesale Corporation. It technically began in 1983 after another company, Price Club, started the idea of a membership-based warehouse store. At the conception its name was simply just Costco. In the year 1993 these two companies, Price Club and Costco, merged to create PriceCostco. Four years later this name was changed to Costco Companies, Inc. Two years later in 1999 it became as we know it now; Costco Wholesale Corporation. (Costco: About Us) purchase a membership to shop at their locations. What does this mean though? Why is this a requirement for you to shop there? It is because being a Costco member, they will send you lots of coupons that are convenient and useable. They offer a very large selection of food items, household appliances, and almost everything else. Many parents believe that the best way of discipling their child is through yelling at them, being strict, and just overall being an authoritarian parent. In reality, it’s the complete opposite as that method just creates fear for adolescents, resulting in negative outcomes. In fact, being strict has poor outcomes that include having an increase of anxiety on kids and can cause them to be more aggressive. While being strict might work for a bit it is something that won’t last for the long run when kids become teenagers as they can learn to become defiant.     Should TikTok be banned in the United States for national security reasons?   By:BBC Bytedance was a company that was founded in China March 2012 where they later released Douyin in September 2016. The app grew popular all around China, but the company decided to launch a worldwide version of the app a year later.   By November 2017 they acquired Musically which was a very popular app in the United States. Once it hit August 2018, they merged the two apps and created TikTok (Bytedance.com). Now it is the number one entertainment app on the App Store, and it is the second most downloaded app worldwide with 39 million downloads in July 2025 ( Backlinko Team).   As the app grew, it caught the attention of the U.S Government.
